MEET THE PODIATRIST
JOANNE ABELA AKOM

With a real love for people, improving wellbeing is always of utmost importance to me. I love empowering people to make positive choices to improve their health. I love working with both children and the elderly and have a special interest in treating ingrown toenails and heel pain.

I have over 20 years experience as a podiatrist. Graduating from La Trobe University in 1999, I've gained years of experience both locally and abroad.
As a lifelong resident of Bundoora, I am very familiar with the local area, it's people and services.
Outside of work, I'm a mum who loves to travel, cook, do wood work and mostly spend time with my family.
